Policy

AI Disclaimer

Stillmove uses artificial-intelligence models to produce clips. This explains what that output is, what it is not, and what remains your responsibility as the person selling the goods.

The important one, first

A clip produced by this service is not a statement by us about the colour, material, size, weight, condition, authenticity, safety or fitness for purpose of any item shown in it. It is a moving picture generated from a photograph you supplied. You are the seller. Before you publish a clip anywhere, you must satisfy yourself that it accurately represents the item a buyer will actually receive.

This matters more here than on most tools that use generative models, because the output is used to describe goods that are on sale. A clip that flatters an item is a misleading description, and in most places you will post it that is unlawful. The consequences fall on the seller, not on the tool.

What we do to make that easier

The service is deliberately built so it cannot alter the goods. The model is only ever given camera instructions — push in, pull back, orbit, pan, sweep the light. It is never asked to change colour, change material, change size or shape, remove flaws or marks, add decoration or parts, replace the background, smooth, beautify or render text, and there is no setting anywhere in the product that turns any of those on.

Two checks then run before anything can be exported:

  • Side-by-side confirmation. Your original photograph and the first frame of the clip are shown next to each other and you must confirm the clip is still your item. This screen appears for every clip. It cannot be skipped and the answer is never remembered.
  • Colour sample comparison. Five points inside the item are read from both pictures, converted to CIELAB and compared using CIEDE2000. A difference above 2.0 is flagged for you to review; a difference above 3.0 blocks the export.

These checks reduce the risk. They do not remove it, and they are not a warranty. A difference the sampling does not happen to fall on can still get through, which is why the side-by-side confirmation exists as well and why the final judgement is yours.

Output is not guaranteed

Generative models are probabilistic. The same photograph and the same instruction can produce different results on different runs. A camera move may wobble, a shadow may behave oddly, an edge may soften, or a move that suits one photograph may not suit another. We do not warrant that output will be accurate, complete, fit for any particular purpose, or free from artefacts, and we do not warrant that any particular clip can be produced from any particular photograph.

If a generation is faulty we restore the credits it used — see the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Text is never generated

Any price, discount, dimension, weight, date or specification that appears on a clip is typed by you and drawn by your browser onto the clip. It is never produced by a model. This is deliberate: models do not spell reliably and cannot be held to a number, and a mistyped price is a real commercial problem. Because you type it, checking it is accurate is also yours to do.

If you enter a struck-through “was” price, it must be a price you genuinely charged for that item before. A reference price that was never the real selling price is a misleading price indication and is unlawful in most places you will post a clip.

Not professional advice

Nothing produced by this service is legal, financial, medical, safety or other professional advice, and it must not be relied on as such. Do not use clips produced here to make or support claims about a product’s safety, medical effect, regulatory compliance, provenance, authenticity or material composition. If a claim about your product needs to be substantiated, substantiate it outside this tool.

Uses that are not appropriate

Do not use this service where an inaccurate or unexpected output could cause harm rather than inconvenience. That includes, but is not limited to, medical devices and medicines, food safety and allergen information, safety equipment, vehicle or machinery condition, financial products, and legal or regulatory filings. It also excludes any use that would misrepresent goods to a buyer.

Bias and limitations

Models are trained on large collections of images and carry the patterns and gaps of that training. In practice this means the service performs best on the kind of photograph it was designed for: a single item, well lit, on a plain backdrop. Unusual materials, highly reflective or transparent surfaces, very dark items, busy backgrounds, several items in one frame, and unusual lighting are all more likely to produce a poor result — and a poor result on this service is more likely to be a wobble than a change to the item, but you should still look.

A model may also behave in ways we did not intend. During development, one photograph of an unlit candle produced a clip in which the wick was lit, and one photograph of a closed notebook produced a clip in which the pages had opened. In both cases the model had added something that was not in the seller’s photograph. Neither was published, and both are the exact reason the confirmation screen and the colour check exist. If you see something like it, tell us: send the clip and the original to support@rhyldealretail.com and we will treat it as a fault.

Third-party models and platforms

Parts of the generation may be performed by third-party providers under contract. They are barred from retaining your content or using it to train anything — see the Privacy Policy. Separately, each platform you post a clip to has its own rules about generated media, including labelling requirements in some places. Meeting those is your responsibility, and we cannot tell you how any platform will treat a particular clip.

Human oversight

We do not make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you. A person can be reached about anything produced here at support@rhyldealretail.com.
